The Ice Games are an independent Ice Cross event in the French Alps:

• Safe environment

• Supervision on site

• Beginner-friendly sessions

🧑‍🏫 I’ve never done Ice Cross — can I try?

YES!
This event is the perfect place to start.

We welcome:

• People discovering the sport

• Skaters / hockey players trying Ice Cross for the first time

• Curious friends & families

Come try, learn, enjoy at your own pace.

🎽 What gear do I need?

Minimum required:

• Ice skates (hockey skates)

• Helmet

• Gloves

• Knee & elbow pads:

• Chest/shoulder protection

• Hip/short protection

• Neck guard

We are working on rental / gear support partners (to be confirmed).

💰 Prices

Training (½ day + lift pass): 40 €

Race entry (incl. athlete meal): 145 €

📅 January 2026

• Track open for training all month

• Race weekend: January 22 → 24

🏁 How does the competition work?

• Day 1: Timed qualifications

• Day 2: 4-rider heats (top 2 advance) - Finals + podium ceremony

 

Pro riders and beginners race the same weekend, this is a community event first ❤️

Participation in the race is optional — you can join only for training.

🧑‍⚕️ Is it safe?

Ice Cross is a fast sport — but here:

✅ Safety staff & patrol
✅ Medical team during race
✅ Supportive environment
